Plant Trees, Get out in Nature, Free Lunch!

Eramosa Karst Conservation Area is a Hamilton’s newest conservation area. The plot of land contains more than 15 caves and other karst formations. It’s unique array of botanical and geological features make it a spot worth visiting, but also a place worth preserving.

This weekend, you (along with family and friends) can help the preservation effort, have fun and eat pizza. Is there a better combination?

Family Tree Planting Day is kicking off on Saturday, May 24 at 9:30 a.m.. After a few hours of planting, at 12:30 p.m. a pizza lunch will be provided to volunteers.

You get to plant new forests that will grow for years and learn about the Karts and the conservation area.

Bring a water bottle, a shovel and good shoes.
