Chris Wang is a McMaster student who will soon be moving on. He’s spent four years in Hamilton but was feeling regret about not seeing some of the city’s natural wonders. We are the waterfall capital of Canada, after all.
He decided to set off on an adventure. He mapped out a 30 kilometer route that would take him, his bike and his camera to 11 different waterfalls, plenty of scenery and Battlefield House Museum. It would also leave him more appreciative of the city he’d spent four years living in.
Scroll down for a while and take in the beautiful photos from his trip. Try it out yourself, someday!

First up: Lower Punchbowl Falls and The Devil’s Punchbowl!
Chris’s route took then took him to the Battlefield House Museum and Monument, an historic site from the War of 1812
Next up: Billy Green Falls!
Gorgeous photos, Chris.
Chris might be having TOO much fun.
Felker’s Falls Conservation Area was next on the docket. Four down, seven to go!
There is plenty of beauty in between the falls too. Incredible that this whole journey is within Hamilton city limits!
Chris found his way to Albion Falls and then Cave Falls
Onto the lovely Lower Chedoke Falls and Chedoke Falls
On to the final two! Sanatorium Cascade Falls and Mountainview Falls. What an adventure.
Tiring journey. But one well worth it!
