As a McMaster student, you’re tying yourself to the university and the city for 3, 4, 5 years, on average. What can really add to your whole university experience is engaging with your community – the one you have at Mac, and the one you have in Hamilton.

Ingie Metwally had Laura Fenwick-Sehl, Assistant Program Coordinator of the MacServe and Leadership Programs, and Sooji Kim, Exchange Coordinator, from the Student Success Centre (SSC) come on the Morningfile to talk about the different ways students can get involved.

Laura delved into MacServe – registration for Reading Week just opened up on Monday – and the Leadership Summit for Women – taking place on October 24 – and Sooji covered some of the opportunities for International Students to connect to the community through the Hamilton Series and the One Bite at a Time programs.

Check out the sound clip below to listen to the full interview. To learn more about the services the SSC offers, check out their website, or follow them on Facebook and Twitter.
