Young Leaders Wanted: These opportunities are for YOU

leadership.jpg

Do you think of yourself as a leader? Let’s be real – many of us don’t really know how to answer that. It’s hard to think of yourself as a leader when the word leadership is so rarely defined.

Ingie Metwally had Laura Fenwick-Sehl from the Student Success Centre on the Morningfile to chat about what leadership is, how it can be cultivated, and how to best combine it with community engagement to catalyze change in our communities.

The two also discussed the various leadership opportunities available to McMaster students, including the Student Leadership Conference, MacServe Reading Week, MacServe Engage, the Mary E. Keyes Certificate for Leadership Development, and the numerous Student Success Leader positions offered for 2015-2016.

Check out the sound clip to listen to the short interview, and find out how to apply for these awesome opportunities.
