Hamilton is a great place to live right now for all the foodies and coffee lovers out there. From Mulberry Street Coffeehouse on James St N, to My Dog Joe’s in Westdale, there are tasty treats and delicious hot beverages all around the city.
CFMU’s co-op student Destiny Torrington is your typical coffee addict and lover of baked goods, so naturally she sought out an interview with one of Hamilton’s most popular cafes, Brown Dog Coffee Shoppe on Locke Street!
Check out the sound clip below for Destiny’s chat with Joey, part-owner of Brown Dog. The two talked about what it’s like running a coffee shop, their scrumptious and freshly prepared apple fritters, how to rent out the place for an event, and more!
You can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter, or simply stop by the converted Church turned coffee house to get a feel of the relaxing atmosphere yourself – and a taste of their famous apple fritters, of course!
