The countdown for the end of classes has begun, and we’re already at 30 days, folks!
So how does that make you feel? A little overwhelmed? Stressed out? Excited to get started on studying? Either way, the Student Success Centre (SSC) is ready to help – yet again – with a variety of tips on how to get ready for exams and final projects.
Jennifer Meister came on Morningfile the other day to chat with Ingie about what students can do to prepare for the end of the term. Whether you’ve been on the ball, or slacking these past couple of months, these tips will surely help you to succeed.
While you can listen to the full interview below, here are a few important takeaways from the conversation:
- It’s not too late for you to do well. There is still lots of time to catch up, recover from bad grades, and succeed on exams and final projects.
- Figure out everything that you have to do, and then create some sort of action plan to execute it all.
- When studying, really try to understand the material and avoid memorizing.
- If you feel like you need help, don’t hesitate to access the SSC academic resources.
