No matter who you are, you’ve experienced stress at some point in your life. It’s natural – a given. But how you deal with stress, and how you let it control who you are and what you do, that’s personal.
Five lovely students, Kaitlin, Sarah, Ava, Hanna, and Ive, have been working on an initiative to remind you that you’re more than the stress that you’re feeling.
As part of their MacEngaged project, they are trying to educate the McMaster community on the effects of stress on our bodies and minds. Three of the girls came on Morningfile today to chat about their initiative, and the challenge they’re posing to all of you.
The group put together a calendar of de-stressing activities to complete in the month of March based on academic research and studies in the areas of stress and stress relief. The challenge is to complete as many de-stressing activities as possible throughout the month. Check them out below:
