Souls on Fire: Narratives that Inspire

It is said that “the most powerful weapon on earth is the soul on fire” and that education “is not the filling of the pail but the lighting of a fire.”

Souls on Fire: Narratives that Inspire is a new podcast series developed by the Program for Faculty Development and the McMaster Institute for Innovation and Excellence in Teaching & Learning to showcase the stories of exemplary McMaster faculty.

The intention of this podcast series is to inspire members of the academic community here at McMaster, as well as the greater Hamilton community, to realize their own passions and academic potential.

Ingie Metwally had Dr. Anne Wong from the Program for Faculty Development on Morningfile to chat about the series, the value that can be found in listening in, and her hope for future of it. Check out the sound clip below for the full interview.

You can also listen to any one of the current podcasts by visiting the Souls on Fire website, and Joe Kim’s podcast – which aired on Morningfile – can specifically be found here.
