Have you ever wanted to explore the architectural, cultural, and historical sites of Hamilton? Well now is your chance!
Doors Open Hamilton (DOH) is organized by the Hamilton Branch of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario and is happening on Saturday, May 7th and Sunday, May 8th. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this since visitors are allowed free access to properties that would usually charge an entrance fee or wouldn’t be open to the public.
Since beginning in Hamilton in 2003, the Doors Open Hamilton event has registered over 170,000 site visits to over 80 Hamilton landmark buildings and sites.
Ingie had the chance to chat with the chair of the DOH Committee, Barbara Murray, to gain some more insight on the event. Check out the sound clip below for more information on this year’s sites, or visit the website, Facebook page, or Twitter page.
