Why take a normal walk around Hamilton when you could take a Jane’s Walk?! Jane’s Walks are free, locally organized walking tours that occur in various cities in Ontario. People come together, explore, share stories and celebrate the neighborhood in which they live in.
These walks are not only a great way to explore your city, but it’s a great opportunity to meet new people and socialize. You can also choose to go on walks that discuss more historical aspects of the neighborhood which really makes this movement for everyone!
Today, Ingie and Mark sat down with Cassandra Roach (City Organizer of Jane’s Walk Hamilton) and learned more about the impact a Jane’s Walk has on the community and how exactly these walks began! You can listen to the interview in the sound clip below.
