Pangaea is an annual multicultural event which started in 2003. This one day event celebrates the cultures of several people, where McMaster students, staff and Hamiltonians celebrates their different ethnicity. The goal of this event is to promote cultural diversity to the students of McMaster University and the families of the Hamilton community.
Earlier this week, Roshni a fourth year McMaster Student and Meena, a second year McMaster student sat down for an interview at CFMU studio. They both talked about the importance of Pangaea at McMaster university as well as what to expect from this multicultural festivity.
The two members of Pangaea talked about the diverse performances, food, drinks and displays that many clubs have prepared for this show. The Pangaea event will taking place on March 19th from 11:00am – 4:00pm.
Starting on March 7th, early bird tickets will be sold at COMPASS in MUSC for $12. Full day tickets are $15 and half day tickets are $9, they are also being sold at the door or online. Check out their Facebook page for more information.
